The Schultz Theatre and School of Performing Arts

The Schultz Theatre and School of Preforming arts is a non-profit organization that has received support from several notable sources. The New Market Chamber of Commerce awarded The Schultz Theatre The New Market Outstanding Business Award in 2014 and was named by reader in Virginia Living as one of the Top Preforming Arts Groups in Virginia.

The Schultz's goal is to provide an entertainment venue for the Community. By offering theatre, dance, music and entertainment and by offering quality instruction in the performing arts, we hope to enrich the lives of the community we serve while building for the future. The Schultz is known for its variety of performances, which include comedy, drama, modern, original, traditional productions, guest performances, visiting dance troupes, adult and youth productions, and youth acting classes.

The Schultz Theatre and School of Preforming Arts has preformed over 60 different productions including The Wizard of Oz, Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Once Upon a Mattress, Fiddler on the Roof, Hello Dolly, Sweeney Todd and Rapunzel.
