Arena Stage

Where American Theater Lives

This nationally recognized theater company produces plays and musicals that reveal all that is passionate, exuberant, deep and dangerous in the American spirit. Arena Stage was the first racially integrated theater in Washington, D.C.; the first theater to create audio-described performances for the blind; the first regional theater to transfer a production to Broadway; and the first resident theater to win the Tony Award. During construction on its permanent home on the Southwest Waterfront, Arena Stage is located at Arena Stage in Crystal City and Arena Stage at the Lincoln Theatre.
