Wine Tour-Prince William-Richmond-Norfolk

Day 1-Prince William and Manassas, Virginia.  Begin your adventure at The Winery at La Grange nestled in the foothills of the Bull Run Mountains.  Relax at Bungalow Ale House and enjoy a variety of beers and great food. 

Day 2-Visit The Opera House Gourmet for a wine tasting and sign up for their wine-of-the-month club. Afterwards, board a Rivershore Charters boat on the Occoquan River, while enjoying a glass of wine and the scenery.  For dinner visit Cock & Bowl, a restaurant that mimics a European bistro with Belgian beer, frites and seafood.

Day 3- Richmond, Virginia.  Begin your afternoon in the Historic Region at the 5 Star, Five Diamond Jefferson Hotel for high tea.  Take a tour of the Maymont, a gilded Victorian Mansion, and explore the lush gardens and 100-acre estate.  Next, visit the James River Cellars Winery.

Day 4- Enjoy Lewis Ginter Botanical garden blooming year-round and includes more than 40 acres of plants.  Complete your afternoon with a visit to the Museum and White House of the Confederacy.  Next, enjoy a Richmond Confederate Dinner with wine where spirits are high, food is plentiful and the music is upbeat.

Day 5- Richmond to Norfolk, VA.  Begin your day with a tour of the Virginia Capitol.  Next, visit nearby New Kent Winery & Vineyards for a wine tasting.  Eat lunch at The Rose and Crown Tavern featuring a contemporary English theme.  Begin the afternoon in Norfolk, VA with a famous ice cream cone from Doumar's Restaurant where Abe Doumar invented the waffle cone.  For dinner dine at Trilogy Bistro, a restaurant that provides quality seasonal dishes and a first-class wine selection.

Day 6- Begin the day at The Hermitage Museum & Gardens which features contemporary exhibition galleries, a Visual Arts Studio, 12 acres of gardens and more.  Have brunch aboard The Spirit of Norfolk and enjoy a relaxing setting enhanced by amazing city sights, delicious cuisine, and champagne and wine.  Continue the afternoon at Mermaid Winery, Norfolk's first winery located in the charming Ghent neighborhood.  For dinner, take the new Granby Street Food Tour to experience hearty portions of eclectic tapas, award-winning she crab soup, locally brewed beers, and more.  After dinner stroll through 5,000 years of art history at the Chrysler Museum of Art which features more than 30,000 pieces of art.

Day 7-Experience 155 glorious acres at the Norfolk Botanical Garden with guided tours on foot, tram or by boat and enjoy a wine tasting class.
