This historic 25 acre site on the banks of the Potomac River is known as the place "where beauty blooms year round".    Then visit nearby Green Spring Gardens gaze at lush tropical plants in the green house and relax in over twenty uniquely themed gardens.  They'll also teach you some tricks of the trade.    Next, explore Meadowlark Botanical Gardens where you can walk the 95 acres of ornamental gardens featuring exquisite plant collections or take a trail through more than twenty varieties of cherry trees, irises, peonies, and native wildflowers to see a sampling of Fairfax County’s floral wonderments.
