Day 1 Washington DC
Customize a DC tour to include the most visited sites such as The US Capitol ,The White House, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial , Jefferson Memorial, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, Washington Monument and the Smithsonian Museums.
The Pavilions of Turkey Run
Enjoy activities and dinner at this outdoor facility in a beautifully wooded area just minutes from downtown D.C. They offer fabulous picnic feasts grilled on site, plenty of activities such as volleyball, horseshoes, soccer and a refreshing tropical rain mister.
Day 2 Northern Virginia
Adventure Links at Hemlock Overlook Regional Park
Navigating our 60 element team development course groups will be given challenges ranging from simple to complex. The teen team building activities help learn to work together, build relationships and challenge themselves. The day would be about six hours to begin at 10am and end around 4pm. The instructors will introduce a series of challenges to the group to focus them toward team work and problem solving. There is a break for lunch and then they would have a chance to enter into the high ropes course that culminates with our 400ft long zipline.
Tysons Corner Center
Spend the evening discovering the "Rodeo Drive of the East Coast" in the Tysons Corner shopping district with over 500 stores and restaurants.
Day 3 Northern Virginia
Great Falls National Park
The Great Falls Park rangers can often customize a program to fit your group's needs by blending together various elements of their programs. View dramatic areas near the Great Falls of the Potomac River and learn the basics about the formation of the falls and Mather Gorge. General park history is also introduced during this one hour program.
Smithsonian National Air and Space Steven F Udvar-Hazy Center
Near Washington Dulles International Airport is the companion facility to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum on the National Mall and the two sites together showcase the largest collection of aviation and space artifacts in the world. A 10 story high aviation hangar features more than 130 spacecraft, 120 aircraft, flight simulators and an IMAX theater.
The Workhouse Center for the Arts
Start expressing your artistic freedom at The Workhouse Arts Center with a hands- on printmaking experience! Enjoy this artistic community with their open studios, historical significance, and contemporary art practices. You can schedule an appointment with the Workhouse artists that will allow students to produce their own souvenir work of art.
