Greenwood Vineyards and Winery, restored 145 year old tobacco barn, with tasting room, wine storage, production room, fermentation room, and circular stairway to underground wine cellar. Hunting Creek Vineyards focuses on vine balance and detail during harvest, fermentation and aging for quality wines. Offering dry reds and whites, rosé, mildly sweet red, and white jalapeno wine. Molliver Vineyards and Winery wines, made from old-world grapes enjoyed for centuries. Their European style wines include cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and merlot. Old-world style white wines include chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and pinot grigio. For wines from American fruit, they offer blackberry, norton, and their proprietary chocolate wines. Open daily noon to 6 PM, wine tastings, tours, and wine sales.
Bright Meadows Farm Vineyard and Winery, a 19th century tobacco plantation in the historic rolling hills of Halifax County is family owned and operated. Restored 117 year old barn offers southern country wine and hospitality. Bright Meadows Farm has an expanded tasting room, gift shop, and winery, with ten wines available.
