Fredericksburg Girlfriend Getaway

Day One: Old Town Fredericksburg is a shopper's paradise. If you're looking for that unique gift, you'll find it in the boutiques, galleries and antique shops of Old Town. Don't forget the museum gift shops.  Combine shopping with a dining experience in one of the many chef-owned restaurants. . At Gari Melchers Home and Studio at Belmont, the Mary Washington House, and the James Monroe Museum, you will find many interesting gift items.

Evening entertainment Option:  Wine and Dine - it's a fun-filled evening with friends, a little wine and lots of painting. Get your "Rembrandt" on and let your creative juices flow.   

Day Two: You can shop until you drop at Central Park, "North America's Largest Retail Resort" with shops like Talbot's and Anne Taylor Loft or at the Spotsylvania Towne Center featuring Chico's, Saxon Shoes, and many more. After a morning of shopping, enjoy a little relaxtion at a Day Spa. Your evening entertainment is at Riverside Dinner Theater, featuring only classic Broadway musicals and a choice of four gourmet entrees served at your table.

Options:  A trolley tour or horse and carriage ride is a perfect addition to your tour.  Or perhaps, you would like to take a ride on the "City of Fredericksburg" paddle wheel boat which operates June through October.
