Fieldale Fall Frolic

Along the Smith River you'll find 3.5 miles of meandering trail called the Fieldale Trail which is part of the 20-mile network of trails in the Smith River Trail System. Enjoy a bike ride, walk or bird watching.
Take a short drive into Uptown Martinsville where you can enjoy shopping, dining, arts and history. Live shows at the Black Box Threatre are a popular stop as well as concerts at the Rives Theatre. Enjoy watching artists at work at Studio 107 or marvel at the 10 million artifacts at the Smithsonian-affiliated Virginia Museum of Natural History or one of the area's many other museums and historic sites.
