Parker Park Complex

Parker Park is a new, beautiful state of the art sports facility featuring

  • nine lighted baseball/softball fields which may be converted to soccer fields 
  • an indoor training facility for baseball/softball
  • three basketball courts 
  • a sand volleyball court 
  • walking trails/areas 
  • picnic areas 
  • two concession areas with restrooms 

Parker Park frequently hosts district, state and national baseball/softball tournaments and has hosted several World Series tournaments.

Located in South Hill, Virginia, just off of I-85 and geographically central to Richmond, Raleigh-Durham, Charlottesville, Danville, and the Eastern Shore.  

South Hill offers modern amenities, shopping and dining.  Over 360 hotel rooms are in South Hill; over 600 rooms are within a 30 minute drive.

South Hill is located just minutes from the 50,000 acre Kerr Lake (known locally as Buggs Island Lake), with boundless outdoor recreational opportunities on and around the lake, including boat rentals, white sand beaches, and waterfront camping at locations such as North Bend Park and Occoneechee State Park.

Family and group activities can be arranged easily through the South Hill Visitor's Center or the Mecklenburg County Tourism office.
