Suffolk Farmers' Market

The Suffolk Farmers' Market serves as an outlet for some of the fruit, vegetables and plants grown on these farms-beans, corn, grapes, greens, melons, peanuts, squash, strawberries, sunflowers, tomatoes and much more. Participation is open to regional producers within a 100-mile radius of Suffolk. The Suffolk Farmers' Market was founded on the concept of preserving the city's rural heritage and cultural diversity through wholesome family activities.

Open Saturdays, June through September, from 9 a.m. until noon, under the brightly colored tents adjacent to Seaboard Station Railroad Museum, Market shoppers enjoy such popular items as organic breads, fresh eggs and frozen free-range hens.  All Farmers' Market activities are free and open to the public.
