Rockfish River Pottery
Functional, decorative, wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery is made here overlooking the Rockfish River. Designs reflect the surrounding valley as well as the starfish motif started in 1994 at Clay Escapes Pottery in Virginia Beach. We make everything from spoonrests to teapots.
The gallery doors slide open on both ends to blend in with the beauty of the landscape.Various guest artists also join us. Right now we are enjoying the nature photos of Nelson County and the Blue Ridge Mountains by local photographer, Anita Weber. Our porch rockers are a great place for those non-shoppers to sit and relax and enjoy the view while waiting.
We are easy to find and have ample parking. We are just off route 151 behind the Tuckahoe Antique Mall and down the hill from Hill Top Berry Farm and Winery. Wintergreen resort is just minutes away. We are also participants on the Monticello Artisan Trail.
