The 1804 Inn at Barboursville Vineyards

For the past 30 years, this house has been and remains home to the founders of Barboursville Vineyards, Gianni and Silvana Zonin of the Veneto in Italy. Now, like any notable country house in England, welcoming guests for regional sport, an Arcadian respite from the City, or to find a property of their own, The 1804 Inn has been opened, not invented. The silence of Flemish bond walls, the airiness of 11-foot ceilings, and the glow of hand-hewn floors are irreplaceable. Period English bone china, antique silver, priceless furnishings and art of England, Italy, France and Virginia from the 17th 18th, and 19th Centuries – even the treasured family snapshot – remain today, to greet a wider circle of guests.

Enjoy lunch and dinner at Palladio Restaurant, also on the grounds of Barboursville Vineyards.
