The Primrose House Guest Cottage is quiet and private with a full-kitchen including dishwasher, cable TV and DVD, queen-size bed and pullout sofa, private bath with shower, and central air and heat. It is located in the small historic town of Dayton 3 miles from Harrisonburg, behind a yellow Victorian house that is the Primrose House Gift Shop. The Thomas House Restaurant is across the street. Attractions in Dayton include the Harrisonburg/Rockingham Heritage Center and Historical Society, the Silver Lake Mill, and the Dayton Farmers Market. The entire town is on the National Historic Register. A self-guided walking tour is available at the Heritage Center. Check-in 3pm; check-out 12noon.
