Pembroke Springs Retreat

Pembroke Springs Retreat is a country bed & breakfast with a distinct flavor of Japan. The five bedroom, family run retreat sits on 175 acres of private property and has a spectacular view of the Great North Mountain. It has several miles of hiking trails, a tennis court and a fishing pond available to Guests. Besides the outdoor experience Guests are attracted to being able to experience parts of the Japanese culture. The high mineral quality spring water is heated to 104 degrees and the retreat has a small version of the "onsen" experience (Japanese baths) located on the lower level of the building. Guests are able to book massage or reflexology for added relaxation. Breakfast is American or Japanese and on designated nights their Chef will serve a five course Japanese dinner. Located in the Northern Shenandoah Valley, the area offers an array of attractions such as antiques, caverns, horseback riding, farm markets and wineries. The inn does allow children of any age. An outdoor kennel for pets is available during the appropriate seasons. It is wonderful for couples, families and reunions. The bed & breakfast accepts Guests by reservation only; in general it is open Wednesday through Sunday.
