Our 1850s farmhouse in a quiet corner of historic Washington, Virginia, will welcome you to a relaxing and comfortable stay in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Walking distance from the renowned restaurant of the Inn at Little Washington, and just minutes from Shenandoah National Park, award-winning wineries, horseback riding, and antique stores, a day at the Gay Street Inn begins with home-cooked breakfast in our sun room.  Lounge in the library (with fireplace) or retreat to the quiet of one of our 5 guestrooms, each with private bath, queen or king bed, individually controlled heat and air, and views of the mountains or our garden.  The Shenandoah Suite, which includes a complete, private kitchen, is also pet-friendly.  Let us know your special needs, and we will do everything we can to make your stay special.
