Bluewater Haven
Bluewater Haven is a Bed & Breakfast in Moon, Virginia, which is located in Mathews County, a fishing village that has always depended upon the Chesapeake Bay. Time basically stood still here. There are no traffic lights in all of Mathews County, it's so quaint that you purchase fresh locally grown asparagus or fresh seafood off the back of a pickup truck parked along Main Street. Or, visit the Farmers Market on the old courthouse green on Saturday mornings for locally grown vegetables and fruits. You can also find locally harvested oysters, crab, fish, homemade jams or homemade Bloody Mary mix, or fresh flowers from the local gardens. Many artists live in the area and the Artist's Gallery and the Bay School Art Gallery offers many beautiful treasures to admire or take home.
