Abigail Inn was constructed in 1928 as a fraternity house for Washington and Lee students. While it has undergone extensive remodeling over the years, it has also retained its essential historic character, thanks to a succession of owners who have loved and cared for the property. In recent years, owners of the property have used it as a bed & breakfast; and many citizens in Lexington consider it to be the premier B&B in the community. Whether you stay with us for a week or just a few days, stop by for a brief visit or simply call with a question; we hope you will feel appreciated and valued.
The house can accommodate up to twelve guests in six beautifully furnished bedrooms each with an attached bathroom. You will find that the large dining and living rooms featuring original artwork from renown artists are perfect for meetings and conversations. There is also a handsome sitting room on the second floor for those who wish to withdraw for quiet study, reading, or private conversations.
