WaySeeker Woods Garden

WaySeeker Woods is a shady, Japanese-style garden in the woods, just off Route 360 between Richmond and Tappahannock.  It features almost a quarter mile of paths that wind through a garden filled with Hostas, Japanese Maples, Bamboo, Azaleas, shrubs, and flowering plants.  Elements of the garden include water features, statuary, a rock garden, and a gazebo overlooking the garden.  The garden is designed to provide an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of God's creation, and to encourage us to take time to appreciate His presence in our lives and the blessings He has provided in the beauty of the world around us.  The garden is also designed to help us remember the importance of actively working for justice and loving our neighbors.  Children are welcome, and may especially enjoy the maze-like design of the garden paths, and the various garden areas named for the theme of the plant names, colors, or other characteristics.  We request that all children be supervised by an adult.  The garden is also available for special events.  Many plants featured in the garden are available in the attached nursery.  Please check our website or contact us for more information.
