Lake Monticello Golf Course
Lake Monticello's 18-hole championship length, par 72 golf course is ideal for golfers of all skill levels. The course was thoughtfully designed more than three decades ago by Buddy Loving to take advantage of the natural contours and features of Piedmont Virginia's lovely rolling landscape. The 6,925 yard course features four sets of tees. Tees and fairways are predominantly Bermuda grass, with bent grass greens. Fairways are open, but there are out-of-bounds, woods, bunkers and/or water on every hole. Lake Monticello welcomes public play; golf membership and community residency are not required. Lake Monticello will be pleased to host your golf tournaments.
Lake Monticello is host to the annual Falconer Invitational, one of the top five amateur tournaments in Central Virginia. Entry through main gate off St. Rt. 618.
