Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum Gardens

Don't miss the gardens adjacent to Woodrow Wilson's birthplace when the trees and shrubs are in bloom or any time of year! Self-guided tours of this historic garden, a project of The Garden Club of Virginia, are included in the price of museum admission.  Originally designed by renowned Richmond landscape designer, Charles Gillette in the early 1930s, the grounds feature Gillette's only known bowknot boxwood design.

In April during Historic Garden Week, The Garden Club of Virginia celebrates Garden Day in the Staunton area. Tickets for the tour of  houses can be purchased at the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum on the day of the tour and in advance. Tickets include a guided tour of the Birthplace, which will be decorated with period floral arrangments, and admission to the Woodrow Wilson Museum.  Call 540-885-0897 for more information about Historic Garden Week.

Admission to the historic garden is always FREE during regular museum hours.
