George C. Marshall Museum

The George C. Marshall Museum profiles our first 5-star general, US Army Chief of Staff during World War II, the "organizer of victory," and "father of the Jeep."

The Marshall Plan, which helped rebuild war-torn Europe, was established due to his leadership, for which he won the Nobel Peace Prize.  He was the Secretary of Defense in 1950 during the Korean War. 

The museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Closed Sunday & Monday.  Closed Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and December 24th - January 1st.

The research library is open Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 4:30pm.  Closed Saturdays and Sundays.  Closed Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and December 24th - January 1st.  Appointments are appreciated for researchers who desire access to the collection.

 

Our museum shop features Marshall memorabilia, Victorian & Edwardian gifts, kids toys, and various books on military history. We have a large selection of codebreaking-related gifts and shirts.

Fees

 $5 adults, $3 seniors over 65, $2 students, $2 per person for groups over 10, active duty military free
