A Blue Ridge Antebellum Plantation home,circa 1814, located at the foothills of the dePriest Mountain in Nelson County ,VA. Surrounded by apple orchards, vineyards and rolling pastures. This Plantation home was built for William Massie, the youngest son of Major Thomas Massie who was a distinguished veteran of the American Revolution. The stewardship is now entrusted to the family of the great great grand daughter. Many of the original buildings have been and are being restored and available to tour... the main house, slave quarters, smoke house, outdoor kitchen, laundry, ice house and necessity. The view is worth the drive!  Open by appointment only for touring, meetings, parties, retreats, weddings, family reunions, small business conferences, historical studies, classes, etc. Wireless Internet, pool and catering kitchen available.
