The Heritage Museum: Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society

The Heritage Museum's excellent exhibits depict the history of the Rockingham County and Harrisonburg area; an electric map highlighting Stonewall Jackson's Valley Campaign of 1862; a distinctive Shenandoah Valley folk art collection; an extensive genealogy library with guides to assist your research; a bookstore & gift shop with a unique selection including local interest, Civil War history, and family research. Open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm (Seasonal Sundays 1-5pm).

The 19th Century historic Cromer-Trumbo House, furnished with decorative arts and antiques from the Mary Spitzer Etter collection, will be open for group tours by appointment.
