Stonewall Jackson's HQ Museum
As commander of Confederate forces in the Shenandoah Valley, Gen. Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson spent much of the winter and spring of 1861-62 in this house where he laid plans for his now famous Shenandoah Valley campaign. The house contains a fine collection of Jackson items, and his office looks much as it did when Jackson was in residence. Special winter hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays November, December and March. Open seven days a week April-October.
