Amelia County Historical Society, The Jackson Building

A nonprofit citizens' organization founded in 1958 to discover, procure, preserve, and present for study and research artifacts and documents depicting the natural, civic, architectural, and literary histories of Amelia County.  Located in the Jackson Building at the corner of Virginia and Church Streets across from the Court House Square, the society maintains a small library of general, legal, and geneological materials, plus display cases on with numerous artifacts, including of the Civil War.
