Lexington Scots Irish Heritage Festival
Nestled at the head of the historically vital Shenandoah Valley, Lexington is perhaps the perfect spot for a Scots Irish Heritage Festival. Many of the original settlers in the Valley were the early Scots Irish pioneers, who left their English counterparts along the Virginia coast and slipped over the Blue Ridge Mountains, or arrived from northern gateways like Philadelphia. From here they carried the journey on South through the Carolinas and West.
Featuring highland games, live music, craft vendors, traditional foods, and more! Net Proceeds from the event will go to Lexington Lions Clubs Regional Charities.
