Friends Talks at The Marshall House

Join the Friends of the Marshall Center for an evening at The Marshall House, featuring a discussion with distinguished authors on topics related to local and national history.

Tuesday, March 25th, 7:00 p.m.  – Author Timothy M. Gay will discuss his book "Assignment to Hell: The War Against Nazi Germany with Correspondents Walter Cronkite, Andy Rooney, A.J. Liebling, Homer Bigart, and Hal Boyle."

Tuesday, April 22nd, 7:00 p.m. – Author Mary Fishback, Docent at the Marshall House and genealogist at Thomas Balch Library, will discuss the history of Leesburg.

Tuesday, September 23rd, 7:00 p.m. – Author Marc Leepson will discuss his new book, "What So Proudly We Hailed: Francis Scott Key, A Life."

Tuesday, October 28th, 7:00 p.m. – Author and local historian Eugene Scheel will discuss the research for his book about the Catoctin Farmers Club, of which General Marshall was an active member.
