Join plantsman, gardener, and writer Cole Burrell for his discussion of the joys of winter interest in the garden during the Center's last Open House of 2013. Cole will present "Design Ideas and Plant Combinations for Winter Gardens," and will also be available to sign his award-winning book, Hellebores. In addition, learn to dry gourds for fall decorations, and attend a cider-making demonstration. Fall is the perfect time for planting and the Center will have a wide range of trees, shrubs, and perennials for sale; overstock items will be discounted. Family-friendly garden activities ensure fun for all ages. Free, no registration required; Tufton Farm, 9 am - 3 pm.
