Colonial Downs Thoroughbred Summer Horse Racing
Come enjoy Colonial Down's full season of horse racing at its track in New Kent County! Thoroughbred racing returns to Colonial Downs. Racing is conducted on Wednesday through Sunday, with the Sunday start time actually being 12:55 p.m.
Highlights of the meet include runnings of the Colonial Turf Cup (Gr. II) on June 22 and the Virginia Derby (Gr. II) on July 13, along with fireworks night on July 4. Harness racing returns to America's only one-turn mile harness racetrack in the Fall.
