Coastal Studies Day Camp, Ages 12-15

The Marine Science Consortium is offering a week of Coastal Studies Summer Day Camp for kids age 12-15 on the Eastern Shore. Explore the many habitats of the Eastern Shore and learn about the plants and animals that call this unique region home.  Explore new ecosystems and learn about a new set of organisms each day.  Kayak in one of the northernmost Cyprus swamps, take a cruise on one of our research vessels, hike through the maritime forest, bird-watch at the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, and much more!  We'll explore on a microscopic scale as well – have you ever looked at a copepod?  Do you even know what a copepod is? This is your chance to find out! Lunch and Snacks are included. Space is Limited.
