Patrick Henry lived in several homes, including the elegant Governor's Palace in Williamsburg, but he loved best this plantation on the Staunton River which he referred to as "one of the garden spots of the world." The great patriot, orator, and Virginia's first elected governor moved to Red Hill, his last home and burial place, in 1794. The museum houses the largest collection in the world of Henry artifacts and memorabilia.
This event is annually hosted by Patrick Henry Auxiliary and is free and open to the public.
