Beaverdam Heritage Days Festival

Beaverdam is a bit off the beaten path in Western Hanover County, VA. This pastoral setting provides a beautiful and intriguing drive anytime of year. The second Saturday of each October since 1997 is celebrated as Beaverdam Heritage Days where we focus on our rich history. Civil War encampments, craft demonstrations and tours of the Pop’s Country Store Museum and the Beaverdam's Nationally Historic Train Depot involve participants in a variety of experiences illustrating past events and a different way of life. There will be a variety of musical events. A variety of activities are designed for the young and the young at heart. A rich array of foods, from barbecue to ice cream, will be available to help provide the necessary energy to keep participants going throughout the day.
