Annual Fredericksburg Welsh Festival

The annual Fredericksburg Welsh Festival returns for its 26th year with live music by IONA, Jodee James, and Moch Pryderi; a dance performance by the Rappahannock Colonial Heritage Society; arts and crafts vendors; and talks and demonstrations on Welsh language, history and culture; and InFamous Welsh Cookies (you'll have to try them to know!). The festival, which is co-sponsored by the James Monroe Museum and the Welsh Society of Fredericksburg, honors Monroe's Welsh heritage on the side of his mother, Elizabeth Jones Monroe.

The event is co-sponsored by the Welsh Society of Fredericksburg.
