Hampton's Afrikan American Festival
An outdoor, non-alcoholic, family-oriented event that features nonstop entertainment and a marketplace with vendors displaying & selling art, crafts, and food.
During the weekend, over 60 vendors will be on site selling authentic and original black art, artifacts, handmade crafts, and more. For hungry patrons, local and regional food vendors will be selling a variety of cuisines; however alcohol will not be sold at this event.
Live music will entertain throughout the weekend, with Stan the Man, Wilson Night, and Karla Crump performing on Friday, June 27. On Saturday, June 28, Kustom Made Band, 2nd Wyad, Ra Jazz, and the Earth Wind & Fire Tribute Band headline. On Sunday, June 29, enjoy live music by Earl Bynum.
This year's event is presented by the Peninsula Association for Sickle Cell Anemia (PASCA) and the City of Hampton.
