Dance Theatre of Harlem

The fabled company, created by Arthur Mitchell and beloved around the world, has risen like a phoenix after hard times and a decade of rebuilding. At the centerpiece of this jubilant return engagement is Robert Garland's new work, Gloria, a tribute to the spiritual history of Harlem, set to Poulenc's stunning masterwork performed for the first time to live music with the full Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the Virginia Chorale.
