The Annual Chincoteague Island Chili Chowder Cookoff  is always held on the third Saturday in October.  This year it will be sponsored by the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company.  A live band, arts and crafts vendors, and fun for all ages.  The main attraction is the food---lots of it!!  Little Miss Chili Pepper and Little Mister Hot Stuff will be chosen to represent the event.  Chili and chowder will be prepared by amateurs and professionals for your tasting pleasure.  Hot chili on a beautiful fall day by the Chincoteague Bay........can't get much better!
