We make ice cream by hand, one order at a time, using ingredients and methods that are tailored to support local, sustainable agriculture, organic farming, and other wholesome and environmentally responsible practices.
Located on Route 250 at the foot of Afton Mountain, minutes from the intersection of Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway, Perfect Flavor is convenient to leaf peepers, bikers and hikers alike. Come on by and enjoy fresh gourmet ice cream made from local ingredients. We also have scratch-made pastry and fair trade and organic coffee.
Our hours are:
Monday - Friday - By appointment only for tours and tastings
Saturday 10am - 5pm
We are closed during the lunch hours primarily so that school groups can tour our kitchen, learning about where milk comes from, how it is pasteurized and made into real ice cream.
